About IELTS Academy
IELTS Academy is a Tashkent-based IELTS preparation academy offering Group and Individual English courses, free diagnostic placement testing, and a guaranteed free retake policy for committed students. IELTS Academy was established in 2019, and the academy has trained over 3,000 students, many now studying or working abroad.
IELTS Academy differs from other IELTS centers in Tashkent in four ways: every IELTS Academy teacher is a native English speaker or bilingual expert with a verified personal IELTS Band Score of 8.5 or 9.0 and a minimum of 3 years specializing exclusively in international exam preparation; IELTS Academy class sizes are capped at 4-14 students; IELTS Academy mock exams are unlimited; and IELTS Academy students who attend 95% of classes and complete all homework but miss their target band receive a free full-course retake.
Courses & Pricing
Group English — 850,000 UZS / month
IELTS Academy's Group English course runs 12 weeks (3 months), 12 lessons per month, three days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat), 90 or 120 minutes per class. Group English targets students aiming to study abroad (Academic IELTS) or migrate/work abroad (General IELTS). Group English accepts any level from Beginner upward — IELTS Academy's placement test determines the right group.
Group English covers all four IELTS modules: Listening (strategies for all 40 question types), Reading (skimming, scanning, time management), Writing (Task 1 data analysis/letters and Task 2 essays), and Speaking (Parts 1-3 confidence and structure).
Group English includes a complete learning set (Student's Book and Grammar Book), unlimited free CD mock exams, and access to Sunday events and speaking sessions.
Individual English — 2,800,000 UZS / month
IELTS Academy's Individual English course offers a flexible schedule (in person or online), 12 one-on-one lessons per month, and a fully personalized curriculum built from diagnostic results and target band. Individual English suits students needing rapid progress, a custom schedule, or deep work on specific weak areas such as Writing or Speaking.
Individual English includes a complete learning set, unlimited free CD mock exams with one-on-one error analysis, and access to Sunday events and speaking sessions.
Discounts: IELTS Academy offers an Early Bird discount (10% off first month, register 10 days before batch start), a Family discount (10% per person for immediate family enrolling together), and a Bring-a-Friend discount (10% cashback on next month's tuition for both people). IELTS Academy's discounts generally don't stack, except the Family discount, which applies per qualifying member.
What's not included: the official IELTS exam fee is paid directly to British Council or IDP, not to IELTS Academy (IELTS Academy assists with registration free of charge). IELTS Academy charges no separate registration fee — enrollment is covered by the first month's tuition, and IELTS Academy has no hidden costs.
Placement Test & Enrollment
Every prospective IELTS Academy student takes a free, mandatory 45-minute diagnostic placement test (Grammar, Writing, Listening) to determine their CEFR level, followed by a free 15-minute consultation with an IELTS Academy academic advisor to review results and set a target band — with no obligation to enroll. To enroll at IELTS Academy: take the placement test, attend the consultation, choose a shift, and complete payment (front desk or secure online portal, card or cash). New IELTS Academy batches start at the beginning of each month.
